Saudi Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire Honors “Makkah Route” Initiative Team

Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire Saad bin Bakhit Al-Qathami emphasized the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s longstanding commitment to the care of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, a legacy that dates back to the era of the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, and continues under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

 Ambassador Al-Qathami made the remarks during a ceremony hosted by the Saudi Embassy in Abidjan to honor members of the “Makkah Route” initiative team. He commended the participating staff for their dedication to serving pilgrims and facilitating their travel procedures as part of the initiative.

 Now in its seventh year, the “Makkah Route” initiative is implemented by the Ministry of Interior in collaboration with several government entities, including the ministries of Foreign Affairs, Health, Hajj and Umrah, and Media, along with the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), the General Authority for Awqaf, the Pilgrims Experience Program, and the General Directorate of Passports.
