
Attorney General Inspects Hajj Prosecution Offices, Emphasizes Judicial Protection for Pilgrims
Attorney General Sheikh Saud Al-Mujib inspected Public Prosecution offices in the holy sites operating for this year's Hajj, assessing their readiness and preparations. His visit also included the inauguration of several new offices.
Al-Mujib underscored the critical importance of judicial protection for the holy sites and pilgrims. He highlighted the need for swift initiation of criminal proceedings against any actions violating the sanctity of religious rituals, including fraud, deception, commercial misconduct, or breaches of approved Saudi standards for pilgrim products and services.
He further stressed the imperative to combat cybercrimes that could threaten Hajj security or disrupt pilgrims' peace of mind, emphasizing the necessity of taking all requisite legal measures.
