Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) Abdulrahman Alfadley oversaw the extensive preparations of the MEWA system in Makkah Region. Accompanied by several sector leaders, he inspected the sectors' readiness to implement operational plans aimed at delivering the highest quality services to pilgrims during the Hajj season. This initiative aligns with the directives of the Kingdom’s leadership to ensure all the needs of pilgrims are met, allowing them to perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.

Alfadley also attended a visual presentation on ongoing projects in Jeddah Governorate aimed at enhancing water and sanitation services, which include 56 projects with a total cost of SAR6.2 billion.

The tour is part of an inspection of the ministry’s operational plans to deliver top-tier environmental, water, and agricultural services to pilgrims during this year’s Hajj season. It also aims to assess progress and review the latest developments in ongoing and completed projects across Makkah and the holy sites.
