Al-Kassabi Meets in Riyadh with 67 Executives from 35 Countries Participating in London Business School Programs

Chairman of the National Competitiveness Center (NCC) Board Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi met with a group of senior executives participating in the London Business School’s (LBS) executive training programs, led by Executive Dean of Executive Education Professor Florin Vasvari. The meeting was held as part of the partnership between the NCC and LBS, aimed at developing academic content that highlights the Kingdom’s experience in implementing economic and developmental reforms and integrating it into the school’s executive education curricula to reinforce the Kingdom’s position as a global academic model for transformative economic policy.
 The visit, comprising 67 executives from 35 countries, aimed to gain insight into the Kingdom’s reform experience and its impact on enhancing national competitiveness, in addition to reviewing case studies developed by the school on a number of reforms implemented across the public and private sectors.
 The group also visited the Saudi Business Center to observe firsthand the center’s operational model, following their review of a case study highlighting the center’s global role as a benchmark for facilitating starting and doing business through the one-stop-shop model, and its contribution to positioning the Kingdom among the world’s leading countries in the quality of government services provided to the business sector.
 The visit additionally included a presentation on Istitlaa, the public consultation platform operated by the NCC, to learn about its role in enabling the public, government entities, and the private sector to provide feedback on proposed laws and regulations before approval, and its impact on enhancing the quality of the legislative environment in the Kingdom through stakeholder engagement.
