Diriyah Company Enhances Cyber Protection through MoU with Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones

Diriyah Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones to safeguard the digital infrastructure of Diriyah, one of Saudi Arabia's most significant historical cities, enhancing its overarching cybersecurity measures.

Under the MoU, Diriyah Company will join the BugBounty platform, the first of its kind in the Middle East. This innovative platform is designed to leverage the expertise of cybersecurity researchers to identify software vulnerabilities, thus contributing to a more secure and trustworthy cyberspace for private and public sector clients.

Through this platform, the two entities will collaborate to strengthen Diriyah Company’s systems by coming up with measures to identify and mitigate potential security risks, ensuring a secure and resilient digital environment.

The federation will also provide specialized training programs to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, and upgrade employees’ skills in this critical field.

As Diriyah continues to develop its digital infrastructure and digital models, this MoU enables Diriyah Company to access the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones’ database of professionals, helping it identify suitable candidates for employment to further enhance the company’s cyber capabilities.

It also facilitates the design of assessments tailored to the requirements and roles of vacant positions related to cybersecurity at Diriyah Company, aimed at evaluating the competency levels of potential candidates. Furthermore, it promotes collaboration in sharing data on outstanding students who possess specific professional certifications in the field of cybersecurity, with the goal of attracting them for available training opportunities.

Diriyah Company Group CEO Jerry Inzerillo said about the partnership: “This MoU aligns with Diriyah's commitment to realizing Saudi Vision 2030, marking a crucial step toward creating a secure and sustainable digital future for Diriyah. Our collaboration with government and private sectors, especially the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, is essential for empowering the next generation in advanced technology, driving cultural and economic growth.”

The two organizations will collaborate on joint cybersecurity projects, which will include organizing conferences, workshops, and initiatives to raise public awareness about cybersecurity issues.
