Yanbu Inaugurates New Wind Energy Systems Factory with Ministry Support

Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company officially launched commercial production at its Al Yamamah Wind Energy Systems Factory yesterday in Yanbu Industrial City. The project, supervised and supported by the Ministry of Energy, represents a pioneering step that supports the national transition toward clean energy and contributes to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

 The factory stands as one of the most advanced facilities specializing in steel tower manufacturing. It boasts an annual capacity of 50,000 tons of high-quality steel towers engineered with heights over 130 meters and diameters up to 6 meters—making them ideal for supporting the latest wind turbines.

 Managed efficiently by a specialized team, the facility provides an innovative work environment and is set to become an advanced center for the renewable energy industry, serving both local and international markets. This initiative underscores Al Yamamah Steel Industries Company’s commitment to its national responsibility and its leading role in supporting the energy transition, thereby enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a regional and global force in the renewables sector.
