9th Citrus Festival in Al-Hariq Draws Over 70,000 Visitors

The 9th Citrus Festival, organized by the National Company for Agricultural Services in Al-Hariq Governorate, has set a record, attracting 70,677 visitors by its third day. The festival’s diverse activities, blending agricultural showcases, recreational events, and local product displays, have solidified its reputation as a premier tourist destination.

Visitors have enjoyed sampling a variety of dishes, some served creatively on orange peels—a unique initiative that supports transformation industries while adding an artistic touch to the event. This distinctive culinary experience is just one of many attractions enriching Al-Hariq Governorate throughout the festival’s 10-day run.

A standout feature of the festival is the allocation of 36 corners designed in the style of traditional houses for productive families. These spaces provide a platform for families to market handmade goods and traditional foods, drawing significant interest from attendees and enhancing the cultural authenticity of the event.

The festival’s vibrant atmosphere, focus on local heritage, and innovative presentations continue to attract large crowds, further establishing Al-Hariq Governorate as a key destination for tourism and cultural celebration.
