Al-Hariq Citrus Festival Draws Over 23,000 Visitors in Two Days

The 9th Citrus Festival in Al-Hariq, organized by the National Company for Agricultural Services, has experienced a strong turnout, attracting thousands of visitors from across the Kingdom.

 In the first two days alone, over 23,000 visitors attended the festival, 8,000 on the opening day and 15,000 on the second. This significant turnout has set a high bar, with expectations of record-breaking attendance throughout the ten-day event.

 Visitors have been exploring the festival's diverse offerings, including 53 citrus fruit pavilions, 28 honey product pavilions, and 22 pavilions showcasing a variety of dates and their by-products. The agricultural nurseries have also been a major draw, displaying and selling various citrus trees while providing valuable insights into cultivation methods and care.

 The festival has also offered a unique tourism experience with organized visits to 12 private citrus farms, allowing visitors to gain firsthand knowledge of local agricultural practices.

 Al-Hariq Citrus Festival is a cornerstone event for the region, driving tourism and economic growth. It serves as a vital platform for showcasing and marketing the region's agricultural treasures, including renowned citrus fruits, high-quality dates, and the finest local honey.
