Aseer Municipality Signs Agreement to Plant One Million Smart Trees

Aseer Region Municipality has signed an environmental and technical partnership agreement with netzero, an environmental services company from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's Sedra Program, to launch smart afforestation initiatives across all 33 of its municipalities.

 The agreement includes a landmark project to plant and document one million smart trees using global best practices. It also aims to establish miniature forests in selected areas to boost biodiversity and increase green spaces.

 This collaboration reinforces the commitment of both Aseer Region Municipality and netzero to a sustainable future and a greener environment, while also supporting Saudi innovations in climate technologies.
