KSrelief Implements Noor Saudi Volunteer Project in Aden

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented the “Noor Saudi” volunteer project to combat blindness and its causes in Aden, Yemen, from June 20 to 29, 2026, in cooperation with the Al-Basar International Foundation.

 During the campaign, the volunteer medical team provided a range of healthcare services to beneficiaries from the most vulnerable families. These included 400 specialized cataract surgeries, all of which were successful, using both phacoemulsification (PHACO) and extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE) techniques for children and adults.

 The team also conducted comprehensive medical examinations for 1,566 people of various age groups.

 The campaign also provided medications to 1,566 beneficiaries and distributed 1,000 prescription eyeglasses, helping to alleviate their suffering.

 The project is part of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to support the healthcare sector and ease the suffering of vulnerable and affected communities across Yemen's governorates.
