
MWL Secretary-General Delivers Eid Sermon at Largest Mosque in Albania and the Balkans
The Republic of Albania hosted the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (WML) and President of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa to deliver the Eid Al-Fitr sermon at the Grand Mosque of Tirana, the largest mosque in the country and the Balkans, in the presence of Albanian scholars.
Dr. Al-Issa began the sermon by extending his congratulations to Muslims on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, emphasizing that it is a day of happiness, a time to uphold Islamic values, strengthen the bonds of faith, and reinforce the ties of brotherhood.
He also highlighted that it is a day of forgiveness and fostering harmony, stressing that this noble Islamic value extends to all, both Muslims and non-Muslims. He emphasized the importance of the family as the foundation of every nation, serving as both its core and safeguard. Dr. Al-Issa also highlighted the vital role of women in building and strengthening the family unit.
