
Islamic Affairs Ministry Implements Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Programs to Distribute Dates and Serve Iftar in Montenegro
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom’s Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held an official ceremony yesterday to launch the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift programs in Montenegro. The programs, aimed at distributing dates and offering Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan 1446 AH, took place in the capital, Podgorica.
The event was attended by Deputy Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Albania Ahmed Al-Harbi, Member of Parliament in Montenegro Nađa Laković, Deputy Mufti of the Capital in Montenegro, and Representative of the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom’s Embassy in Bosnia Zaid Al-Hamdan, along with several officials from the Islamic Sheikhdom.
A total of 5 tons of dates were distributed, benefiting approximately 21,000 people. Mufti of Podgorica Jamal Ahmed Rajab expressed deep appreciation for the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to serve Islam and address the needs of Muslims, especially during Ramadan. He extended his heartfelt thanks to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for their generous contribution, which has become an annual tradition. The Mufti prayed for the continued protection and prosperity of the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people, and for Allah to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his noble deeds.
Beneficiaries of the initiative also expressed their sincere gratitude to the Kingdom for its continued generosity, praying for Allah to bestow blessings upon the Kingdom and its leadership and to grant peace and prosperity to its people.
