
Vice Minister of Industry Affairs Inaugurates MS Pharma Biologics Plant in Riyadh 3rd Industrial City
Vice Minister of Industry Affairs at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources Eng. Khalil Ibrahim Ibn Salamah on Thursday inaugurated the MS Pharma biologics plant and several infrastructure development projects during an inspection tour of Riyadh 3rd Industrial City. The initiatives are part of the ministry’s efforts to empower the industrial sector and localize strategic industries within the Kingdom.
The MS Pharma plant, the first facility in Saudi Arabia to produce fully formulated biologic drugs, spans 3,000 square meters and specializes in manufacturing treatments for autoimmune diseases, eye disorders, and osteoporosis. The facility aligns with the goals of the National Industrial Strategy to localize pharmaceutical production.
Eng. Ibn Salamah also launched the "Montijoon 4" Project by Masic Logistics, which covers 150,000 square meters and will provide 156 ready-built factories to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and entrepreneurial industrial ventures.
The vice minister’s visit underscores the ministry’s commitment to promoting sustainable industrial development, localizing promising industries, enhancing infrastructure in industrial cities, and delivering integrated services to support pioneering industrial projects across the Kingdom.
