Saudi Arabia's Ihram Imports Exceed 44.6 Million Pieces in 2025
The Kingdom's imports of ihram garments reached approximately 44.6 million pieces in 2025, reflecting the surging demand for Hajj and Umrah supplies. According to data released by the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), this significant volume aligns with the continuous rise in the number of pilgrims and the subsequent expansion of services provided to them.
The authority’s data further revealed that ihram imports during the first quarter of 2026 exceeded 10.4 million pieces. This strong first-quarter performance underscores the proactive commercial activity aimed at securing the needs of local markets well ahead of the Hajj season.
ZATCA indicated that the top countries exporting ihram garments to the Kingdom in 2025 included China, Pakistan, Indonesia, Egypt, and Turkiye. This robust supply chain operation is part of broader national efforts to ensure market readiness and provide essential products for pilgrims.
These coordinated logistical efforts raise the overall efficiency of services provided to pilgrims, operating within an integrated ecosystem that directly supports the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program.
