Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital in Madinah Participates in Providing Medical Care for Visitors to Prophet’s Mosque

The seasonal medical center of Prince Sultan Armed Forces Hospital, located on the northern side of the courtyards of the Prophet’s Mosque, is providing an integrated ecosystem of healthcare services for pilgrims during the 1447 AH Hajj season.
The effort comes as part of initiatives by the General Directorate for Health Services at the Ministry of Defense to strengthen medical care and enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims and visitors in Madinah.
The center’s services, offered as part of its fifth consecutive participation in serving visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque during the Hajj season, include primary care clinics, emergency services, urgent care, radiology services, laboratory services, pharmacy services, and health education.
The center has also introduced dialysis services. The service enables pilgrims with kidney disease to continue treatment sessions during their stay in the central area near the Prophet’s Mosque. It also helps ensure their comfort and health safety.
The seasonal medical center includes more than 315 medical, technical, and administrative personnel from various specialties. It operates with several medical beds, including 10 beds designated for emergency and critical cases.
The facility also includes a primary care department containing four clinics. The department can be expanded to six clinics according to operational needs and visitor density. It is supported by integrated medical and technological equipment that contributes to rapid response and improved care efficiency.
The center implements several specialized initiatives to serve pilgrims and visitors. Most notably, it translates health education content into more than 10 languages and makes it available through QR codes. This enables beneficiaries to access guidance information in their own languages.
The center also continues implementing a package of developmental and improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality of medical services provided to pilgrims.
