Council of Senior Scholars Convenes 98th Session in Riyadh

The Council of Senior Scholars held its 98th session today at the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta in Riyadh, chaired by Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, and President of the General Presidency of Scholarly Research and Ifta Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan bin Abdullah Al-Fawzan, with the participation of council members.
 In his opening remarks, Sheikh Al-Fawzan commended the Saudi leadership for empowering the council to address various topics and issue Sharia-based decisions. He acknowledged the honor of serving the pilgrims at the Grand Mosque, the Prophet’s Mosque, and the holy sites, facilitating Muslims in performing Hajj, Umrah, and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque in peace.
 Sheikh Al-Fawzan emphasized the dedication of the Kingdom's leaders, who are committed to ensuring that the Kingdom remains strong and prosperous.
