WAMY Provides Eye Surgery Services to Patients in Guinea
The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) provided ophthalmic surgical services in the Republic of Guinea, in cooperation with the Guinean Ministry of Defense and the Saudi Embassy in Conakry, through a medical convoy that included a team of Saudi physicians as well as doctors of various nationalities.
The convoy’s activities, which ran from January 19 to 25, included medical examinations, specialized consultations, and surgical interventions in accordance with the approved program, helping to alleviate patients’ suffering and enhance the quality of healthcare provided.
This initiative is part of a series of medical convoys implemented by WAMY across several medical specialties, supporting healthcare services in the Republic of Guinea and reflecting the strong brotherly, historical, and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
