Saudi Ports Authority Exports 20,000 Tons of Urea to Bangladesh

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) announced today the departure of a new export shipment totaling 20,000 tons of urea products from Yanbu Commercial Port to Bangladesh aboard the vessel COURTESY K as part of the authority’s efforts to support national exports and enhance the efficiency of the transport and logistics ecosystem.
The shipment belongs to Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) and includes two products: bagged urea and solid bulk urea, reflecting integration between the Kingdom’s industrial and logistics sectors.
The achievement builds on Mawani’s operational successes through improving operational efficiency and accelerating cargo-handling processes, contributing to the competitiveness of Saudi products in global markets and supporting the smooth movement of trade and supply chains.
The export also underscores the vital role of Yanbu Commercial Port in linking domestic production to international markets and strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub in line with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to diversify the economy and enhance the logistics and maritime transport sectors.
