KSrelief Signs Agreement to Rehabilitate Hospitals and Boost Medical Infrastructure in Sudan
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a joint implementation program yesterday with an organization dedicated to competencies and human development to rehabilitate six hospitals and establish three oxygen generation units across the Republic of Sudan. The program is expected to benefit approximately three million people directly.
The project includes the provision of essential medical equipment for emergency, intensive care, trauma, operating theater, pediatric, inpatient, recovery, medical imaging, and laboratory departments. It also entails establishing three oxygen generation units at the targeted hospitals, installing equipment and oxygen systems, and training medical and technical personnel on operating them.
The agreement is part of a series of humanitarian and relief initiatives carried out by the Kingdom through KSrelief to support healthcare systems, enhance medical services, and improve access to treatment for patients in need worldwide.
