
KSrelief Clinics Provide Healthcare Services to 2,668 Refugees at Jordan’s Zaatari Camp in One Week
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) clinics successfully provided healthcare services to 2,668 patients at the Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan over the past week.
The general medicine clinics received 940 patients, while the internal medicine clinic treated 125 patients for diabetes, hypertension, and asthma. The pediatric clinics attended to 256 children, and the dental clinic at the camp provided care to 195 patients.
Moreover, the two gynecology clinics received 260 female patients, while the ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 71 patients suffering from sinus, throat, tonsil, and middle ear infections. The eye clinic provided care to 63 patients, and the cardiology clinic attended to 22 patients.
Additionally, the diagnostic radiology clinic received 20 patients, the dermatology clinic treated 34 patients, and the rehabilitation medicine clinic cared for 24 patients.
A total of 1,890 laboratory tests were conducted for 262 patients, while 138 X-rays were performed for 104 patients.
Vaccines were administered to 91 patients at the immunization clinic. Health education sessions were provided to 71 individuals and groups, and 130 physical therapy sessions were conducted in the physical therapy department.
