Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Date Distribution and Iftar Programs in the Maldives

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in India, held a ceremony on Ramadan 2, 1446 AH, at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs headquarters in the Maldives to commemorate the launch of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Date Distribution Program.

 The ceremony was attended by Deputy Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives Fahad Al-Dosari and Minister of Islamic Affairs of the Maldives Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed.

 The program includes the distribution of 10 tons of dates, benefiting 40,000 people.

 Additionally, a ceremony was held at the Islamic Center of the Maldives to launch the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Iftar Program in the country. The event was attended by the Deputy Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives.

 The Iftar Program is expected to benefit 4,500 individuals throughout the holy month of Ramadan.

 The Maldivian Minister of Islamic Affairs expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for its great care for Muslim affairs and its service to the Two Holy Mosques, as well as to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for implementing these programs.

 During this year's Ramadan, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance will implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Date Distribution Program in 102 countries and the Iftar Program in 61 countries worldwide.

 These efforts align with the leadership’s directives to serve Islam and Muslims globally.
