Over 4,700 Scouts Volunteer for Hajj 1446 AH
Saudi Scouts began arriving in Makkah and the holy sites, preparing to participate in the public service camps annually organized by the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association. The camps are dedicated to serving pilgrims during the Hajj season.
The association finalized preparations for the launch of the camps, ensuring headquarters, dormitories, medical clinics, and kitchens are fully equipped. Extensive logistical support has been provided to create an optimal environment for the young volunteers to perform their mission effectively.
This year, over 4,700 scouts and rovers are participating in the camps. They are distributed across 14 sub-camps located in Makkah and the holy sites of Mina and Arafat. The volunteers will provide various essential services, including guidance and field assistance to pilgrims, thereby facilitating the performance of Hajj rituals and embodying the values of volunteering and cooperation inherent in Saudi society.
