Interior Minister Inspects Several Development Projects at the Holy Sites

Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz inspected on Saturday several development projects at the holy sites.

 During his tour, Prince Abdulaziz reviewed several new development projects implemented this year, 1446 AH, to serve the pilgrims, including the second phase of the Mashaer pathway. This project features pedestrian routes with environmentally friendly rubber flooring designed to ease movement, improve crowd management, and reduce heat stress.

 He also visited Namirah Mosque, where he reviewed the shading and cooling project for the surrounding courtyards, aimed at moderating the climate to reduce heat stress and enable pilgrims to perform prayers with ease and tranquility.

 During the tour, Prince Abdulaziz inaugurated the new emergency hospital in Mina, enhancing medical readiness to serve pilgrims according to the highest medical standards. The facility increases emergency capacity and provides urgent medical care with high efficiency.

 The minister of interior was accompanied by several princes and officials.
