Public Security Director Leads Kingdom's Delegation at UN Police Chiefs' Summit

The director of public security, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, led the Kingdom's delegation at the fourth United Nations Chiefs of Police Summit (UNCOPS 2024).
UNCOPS 2024 was held at UN Headquarters in New York City on June 26 and 27 with the participation of ministers, police chiefs, and senior representatives of regional police organizations.
The summit addressed participation to enhance security and peace through national and international police, cross-border crimes, and improving the capacity of police to combat crime with swift interaction and response.
It also explored the role of partnerships in the future of police work at the United Nations and strengthening their capabilities.
Additionally, UNCOPS 2024 addressed several agenda items, alongside reviewing the experiences of participating countries as part of exchanging expertise to combat organized crime and address security challenges.
