KSrelief Supervisor General Inspects Volunteer Programs for Syrian Turkish Earthquake Victims

Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah, has recently visited Reyhanli and Kirikhan in Hatay Province, Republic of Turkiye. His visit aimed to inspect the voluntary programs implemented by the center for earthquake victims in Syria and Turkiye.
During the visit, Dr. Al Rabeeah and his team observed the progress of the Saudi Voluntary "Samaa" Program for Auditory Rehabilitation and Cochlear Implants at Reyhanli MMT American Hospital. They also met with the Saudi volunteer team participating in the cochlear implant program, receiving an explanation of its objectives and operational plan, which have contributed significantly to alleviating the suffering of needy families.
Dr. Al-Rabeeah commended the distinguished performance of the Saudi crew for their outstanding implementation of humanitarian volunteer programs to aid earthquake victims in Syria and Türkiye. He highlighted that these efforts were generously sponsored and continuously supported by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Al-Rabeeah emphasized that Saudi humanitarian initiatives will continue to serve those affected and in need worldwide.
The visit also included a tour of the Vocational Training Center, where Dr. Al Rabeeah reviewed various training and educational courses offered to earthquake victims. These courses aim to enhance the skills and expertise of affected individuals to support them during challenging times. Additionally, he visited the Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Hatay to gain insights into its efforts in providing rehabilitation services to those injured by the earthquake.
Dr. Al Rabeeah and his team also visited earthquake-affected camps in Kirikhan, participating in the distribution of food baskets, health kits, and gifts for children. They were briefed on the voluntary efforts in psychological support and visited the specialized psychological clinic headquarters to understand the integrated medical and health services provided to earthquake survivors.
Dr. Al Rabeeah praised the healthcare systems and services provided by the center's clinic to support disaster-affected individuals, helping them overcome trauma and its psychological impacts.
Beneficiaries of the voluntary programs expressed their gratitude to the government and people of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, for the swift response and assistance provided by Saudi volunteer teams from KSrelief after the earthquake disaster. They emphasized that the Kingdom will continue to be a source of support for those affected and in need globally.
