Saudi Red Crescent Deploys Ambulance Units on Pilgrim Routes for Hajj 1446 AH
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) elevated its field readiness across all pilgrim routes, from land entry points to their destinations in Makkah and Madinah, as part of its operational plan for the Hajj season of 1446 AH.
The SRCA has deployed over 150 ambulance units, strategically positioned along roads leading to the holy sites. The units are overseen by specialized field teams dedicated to ensuring immediate response and efficient management of any emergency. More than 300 paramedics and specialists staff the units, supported by 150 ambulances equipped with the latest medical technology to deliver essential emergency care.
The SRCA affirmed its commitment to continuing these services until the last pilgrim departs the Kingdom. The initiative underscores the Kingdom's dedication to providing the highest standards of healthcare for pilgrims, reflecting the directives of the wise leadership, which prioritizes serving pilgrims and the holy sites.
