AlUla Honey Season Starts Tomorrow
The Royal Commission for AlUla tomorrow will launch the second annual AlUla Honey Season, to be held February 6 and 7 at AlManshiyah Farmers' Market, reflecting the commission’s continued approach to developing AlUla’s agricultural ecosystem and strengthening its position as a productive agricultural hub for a wide range of products.
The season is part of Khayrat AlUla Seasons, which include a series of successive agricultural seasons launched over the past period, including the Summer Fruits Season, AlUla Dates Season, and AlUla Citrus Season, within an integrated strategy aimed at showcasing biodiversity, transforming agricultural outputs into sustainable economic value, and enhancing the competitiveness of AlUla’s products in local and global markets.
AlUla Honey Season serves as an interactive platform to highlight the quality of AlUla's agricultural products, offering visitors and interested parties the opportunity to explore production processes and support local producers, thereby contributing to empowering producer families and strengthening agricultural value chains.
The launch of the season extends the commission’s efforts to develop the agricultural sector as one of the key economic enablers linked to AlUla’s identity, stimulate sustainable agricultural activity in line with the Vision for AlUla, and achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in building a diversified and sustainable economy.
Khayrat AlUla Seasons also provide visitors with the opportunity to discover the governorate's agricultural diversity and seasonal products through a cultural and agricultural experience that connects people, place, and agricultural heritage, reinforcing AlUla’s position as a distinctive agricultural destination.
