Saudi Arabia Welcomes UK's Intention to Recognize Palestinian State

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s welcome of the announcement made by United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer regarding his country’s intention to recognize the State of Palestine and its support for the two-state solution.
 The Kingdom reiterates its call upon the international community and peace-loving countries to take serious steps toward implementing international resolutions that affirm the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
