National Museum to Host Interactive Summer Camp Exploring Traditional Crafts
The National Museum will launch the third edition of its interactive summer camp for children aged 10 to 12 years old. This initiative is part of the Year of Handicrafts program, celebrating Saudi Arabia's rich heritage and its role in shaping national identity.
The camp will run in two sessions: July 21–31 and August 4–14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM each day.
Designed as an engaging educational experience, the camp invites participants to explore traditional crafts through four main tracks: pottery, textiles, woodworking, and supporting crafts. The environment combines play, learning, and exploration.
This year's camp reinforces the museum's role as a community hub, offering unique experiences that develop critical thinking and design skills while stimulating imagination. It emphasizes handicrafts as a vital cultural and economic component.
