KSrelief, IRVD Sign Agreement to Provide Healthcare, Education for Separated Conjoined Twins
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a collaborative agreement with the International Wars and Disasters Victims Protection Association (IRVD) to deliver healthcare and education services to conjoined twins following their separation.
This partnership, aimed at serving 180 individuals, was formalized and sealed by Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs at KSrelief Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz, during the International Conference on Conjoined Twins in Riyadh.
The agreement will facilitate access to healthcare, educational, and social services for separated conjoined twins in their respective countries and countries of residence, aligning with global standards to meet their specific needs.
According to the partnership, the services for conjoined twins will be integrated into a database and an information bank to ensure continuous monitoring, while the current phase of the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program remains dedicated to providing comprehensive services to these individuals.
The agreement with IRVD is an extension of Saudi Arabia's ongoing relief and humanitarian endeavors through KSrelief, aimed at ensuring comprehensive care for conjoined twins and advancing the program in line with the latest international technologies.
