alrajhi bank announced the signing of an exclusive sponsorship agreement with one of the most prominent Saudi esports teams, “Twisted Minds,” which was awarded the Best Esports Team in the world for 2023. With this agreement, the bank becomes the first Saudi bank to sponsor a team in the esports and gaming sector.

The agreement was signed on behalf of alrajhi bank by the Chief of Marketing and Customer Experience, Mr. Abdullah Al Jabr, while the Esports Business Development Manager, Mr. Ali Al Abdullatif, represented “Twisted Minds.”

The sponsorship agreement aligns with alrajhi bank’s efforts to achieve the objectives of the national strategy for esports and gaming launched by the Crown Prince. It aims to support Saudi youth in excelling in esports and to provide the necessary resources to develop their skills in this field. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the Kingdom’s global presence in the gaming sector by promoting values of innovation. The sponsorship also emphasizes the bank’s role in social responsibility by supporting sports activities that resonate with wide social segments.

“Twisted Minds” was established in 2021 with the aim of transforming the esports scene in the region. In a short period, it has achieved a prestigious status as one of the most successful esports clubs in the Kingdom, having won 40 local, regional, and international championships.
