Saudi Students Shine at Young Balkan Mathematics Olympiad, Win 5 Medals

Five Saudi students from the King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with the Ministry of Education, won five medals (one gold, four bronze) in the 28th Young Balkan Mathematics Olympiad, which took place in the Republic of Türkiye from June 25 to 30. One hundred thirty students from 22 countries participated.
Student Abdullah bin Tariq Al-Amer from the Eastern Educational Directorate won a silver medal, while students Mohammad Shaiban from the Royal Commission for Jubail Industrial City, Bilal Al-Hujaili from the Madinah Educational Department, Fatima Al-Marhoon from the Eastern Region Educational Department, and Arar Al-Ajami from the Riyadh Educational Directorate won bronze medals.
Mawhiba Secretary General Dr. Amal Al-Hazzaa said that this new achievement is to be added to the record of successes of the Kingdom's talented students and it also reflects the joint efforts of the foundation and its partners in realizing the Saudi Vision 2030.
