Fifth Youth Date Palm Harvest Season Launched in Qassim
The fifth annual youth date palm harvest season kicked off today in Al-Shamasiyah Governorate, Qassim Region. This initiative, launched by Qassim Region Governor Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, has been a cornerstone for empowering youth in the palm and date sector.
With the governor's continuous patronage, the initiative has evolved from its origin at Al-Hamad Farm to qualify young people for careers in the industry. This season, 69 young participants underwent a comprehensive training program, including both theoretical and practical sessions on the economic importance of palm trees, effective harvesting methods, and other key skills to ensure production quality.
This initiative is part of Qassim Region's commitment to supporting youth, encouraging them to contribute to the agricultural sector, and boosting the presence of national date products in both local and global markets.
