KSrelief Cholera Response Project Assists 2,069 People in Yemen
The Emergency Cholera Response Project in Yemen, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), provided medical services to 2,069 individuals between December 3 and 9, 2025.
Comprehensive screenings were conducted at Aden and Al-Rayyan airports, as well as at various border crossings, with no suspected or confirmed cholera cases recorded. Additionally, the project held 322 awareness sessions, benefiting 8,057 individuals.
The project targets areas most affected by the epidemic to reduce infection rates through preventive measures, including deploying medical teams at ports of entry, supplying health facilities with essential treatments, and expanding the capacity of treatment centers. These efforts reflect the Kingdom's ongoing commitment to supporting the Yemeni health sector and protecting the well-being of the Yemeni people against infectious diseases.
