Shughayb Island: A Pristine Red Sea Paradise Beckons

 According to Saudi Geological Survey spokesman Tariq Aba Al-Khail, Shughayb is classified as a coral island covering approximately 0.2 square kilometers. Its surface is notably flat, rising no more than two meters above sea level, with sand dominating most of its terrain.

 The Red Sea coastline is home to several similar islands that consistently attract nature lovers and marine enthusiasts. This vast natural expanse serves as a popular destination for cruise travelers, thanks to its temperate climate, pristine beaches, and lush vegetation. Shughayb Island is also easily accessible by boat from Ras Mohaisen Park, located along the northern stretch of the southwest coast.
