Palestinian Prime Minister Meets with Foreign Minister on FII9 Sidelines

Prime Minister of Palestine Dr. Mohammad Mustafa today received Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah at his residence in Riyadh. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the prime minister's visit to participate in the ninth Future Investment Initiative (FII9) Conference.
 The two sides discussed developments in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, focusing on the importance of continuing to exert all efforts to grant the Palestinian people their legitimate rights, ensuring the establishment of their independent state, and achieving security and stability in the region.
 The meeting also involved a review of the outcomes and results of several major diplomatic initiatives: the Two-State Solution Summit, the New York Declaration for a Peaceful Solution, the initiative of US President Donald Trump, the Sharm El-Sheikh Declaration, and the High-level Coordination Meeting of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, recently held in Riyadh. Joint international efforts were also discussed to ensure coordination across the diplomatic, humanitarian, and institutional tracks.
 The officials further emphasized the crucial need to empower the Palestinian Authority and provide support for its budget, including through the Emergency Coalition for the Financial Sustainability of the Palestinian Authority. They also stressed the vital importance of ensuring aid is delivered to all areas of the Gaza Strip in accordance with humanitarian principles.
