
Foreign Minister Receives Turkish Counterpart, Co-Chairs Second Meeting of Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan today at the Ministry headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation across various fields and reviewed the latest regional developments.
Following the meeting, Prince Faisal and Minister Fidan co-chaired the second meeting of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council. The session focused on strengthening cooperation mechanisms and enhancing coordination on issues of mutual interest to serve the shared goals of the two brotherly nations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prince Faisal and Minister Fidan signed the minutes of the second session of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council.
Additionally, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of diplomatic training was signed between the Prince Saud Al-Faisal Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Diplomacy Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. The MoU was signed by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Dr. Nuh Yılmaz.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials.
