Music Commission Launches Next Phase of 'Saudi Trouq - Musical Arts'

The Music Commission announced in a press release the launch of the next phase of the “Saudi Trouq – Musical Arts” initiative. This initiative aims to highlight and document the various musical and performing arts of the Kingdom, focusing on Western and Eastern regions. The initiative also focuses on preserving and documenting the Kingdom’s diverse musical heritage, rhythms and melodies that have been passed down through generations.
 The commission aims to highlight these arts through musical notations, choreography notations, video documentation, and short documentaries on each art. During the previous phase, the commission released the first season containing 59 episodes on Shahid. The 59 episodes cover Aseer and Al-Baha, featuring various performing arts like Al-Arda in Aseer and Majalsi in Al-Baha.
 During the second phase of the documentation journey, the field researchers will document the musical arts in the Western Region.
 The Music Commission's dedication to documenting and celebrating Saudi Arabia's musical legacy ensures that these timeless expressions of culture live on for future generations.
