
SDAIA Launches Smart Cities Bootcamp to Address Urban Challenges and Enhance Quality of Life in the Kingdom
The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) inaugurated today the Smart Cities Bootcamp at King Saud University, aiming to empower participants with the knowledge and skills to apply data and artificial intelligence (AI) in urban development.
The program focuses on equipping national talents with expertise in smart city technologies, including cloud computing, blockchain, the Internet of Things, and smart infrastructure and services. It also emphasizes the development of generative AI solutions using Microsoft Power BI tools and the design and implementation of advanced AI solutions.
A key objective of the bootcamp is to enhance awareness of ethical considerations and governance frameworks to ensure the responsible use of these technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through applied projects and real-world case studies, contributing to innovative solutions for urban challenges and improving the quality of life in the Kingdom.
Upon completion, participants will receive professional certifications accredited by Microsoft, further validating their expertise in the field.
