
AlUla Wellness Festival to Launch This Weekend with Diverse Sports, Nature Experiences
AlUla is gearing up to launch the fifth edition of the AlUla Wellness Festival, set to take place from October 24 to November 1. The event will feature a wide range of activities across AlUla’s breathtaking natural settings, underscoring its status as a global cultural and tourism destination.
Festival events will be held daily at AlUla’s iconic landmarks, including Elephant Rock, Hegra, the Old Town Amphitheatre, Harrat Viewpoint, Heart of the Oasis, and Maraya. A special cycling camp will also be organized later in October, offering participants guided tours through AlUla’s rugged terrain, along with specialized workshops on riding techniques and training.
In endurance sports, the AlUla Half Marathon will kick off on October 25, featuring five race categories catering to various age groups and fitness levels. Meanwhile, the Mughayra Heritage Sports Village will host the AlUla 24-Hour Endurance Race from October 31 to November 1, challenging athletes to complete as many laps as possible within a full day, individually or in teams.
Ashar Valley will host a triathlon event on November 1, alongside the AlUla Duathlon, which will begin at Winter Park at the start of the festival, further cementing AlUla’s growing reputation as a hub for sports and adventure.
Visitors will conclude their experience with cultural and heritage-themed events, including exclusive culinary sessions in historic settings such as Jabal Ikmah, an open-air museum that tells the stories of ancient civilizations through its inscriptions.
