Two Falcons Fetch SAR270,000 at Saudi Falcons Club Auction
The 16th night of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction 2025 saw two falcons sold for a total of SAR270,000. The auction is currently being held at the club's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, coinciding with the Kingdom's annual falconry season, which runs from October 1 to November 30.
The Saudi Falcons Club provides a range of support services for falconers, including transportation, accommodation, and sales documentation. The auction is broadcast across television channels and social media platforms, and prizes are awarded nightly, supporting this traditional hobby and its economic and social development. As a major destination for locally bred falcons, the auction reinforces the Kingdom's cultural identity, ensures the transfer of falconry expertise to new generations, and provides a significant economic boost to the hundreds of falconers participating.
