National Greening Season 2025 to Launch on October 26

The National Greening Program is preparing to launch the 2025 National Greening Season on October 26, aiming to support the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative by expanding vegetation cover, reducing land degradation, and promoting a culture of afforestation across the Kingdom.

 The program stated that this year’s season will emphasize the importance of planting native plants suited to the Saudi environment, raise awareness about the impact of poor environmental practices, and encourage environmental volunteerism. It will also seek to strengthen partnerships among government, private, and non-profit sectors, contributing to unifying national efforts toward achieving environmental sustainability.

 The National Greening Season is a comprehensive national environmental and social movement that consolidates the concept of sustainability and embodies the role of various sectors and members of society in preserving and developing vegetation cover to achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
