Saudi Embassy in Canada Holds Ramadan Iftar Banquet

Saudi Ambassador to Canada Amal Yahya Almoalimi hosted a Ramadan iftar banquet at the Saudi Embassy here yesterday for Canadian members of parliament, ambassadors of Islamic and Arab countries to Canada, and heads of Islamic associations in this North American country.

 Almoalimi said that the month of Ramadan this year carries pain in light of the suffering of the people of Palestine, and stressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s firm position in support of the Palestinian cause, and the fact that the Kingdom has always stood by the Palestinian people.

 Guests thanked Almoalimi for hosting the event, and the government of Saudi Arabia for its endeavors in the service of Islam and Muslims, and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince.
