KACST Grants Two Licenses to Al-Saif Company for Modular Construction Technologies, Nanotube Pipes

The King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) has granted two technological licenses to Al-Saif Engineers and Contractors for commercializing modular construction technologies and carbon nanotube pipe technologies.

 The granting of these licenses, announced on Tuesday during the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum, aligns with KACST's role as a national laboratory and innovation hub, with a focus on transforming research and development projects into economically viable products. This initiative aims to maximize the outcomes of research and innovation, expand deep technology applications, boost local content, and enhance the value of national industries.

 The technical licenses for the Modular Construction Technologies and Nanotube Pipes projects support the Kingdom's Vision 2030 objectives to develop the construction sector through innovations in building materials, advanced construction technologies such as robotics and automation systems, and green buildings. These initiatives seek to improve efficiency, quality, and sustainability in research support.
