Industry Minister Participates in Ministers' Roundtable at OECD Critical Minerals Forum in Türkiye

Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef participated in the ministerial roundtable held as part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Critical Minerals Forum in Istanbul, Republic of Türkiye, with the attendance of mining ministers, government officials, and representatives of international organizations.

 The meeting discussed ways to strengthen international partnerships in the critical minerals sector and develop cross-regional alliances bringing together producing and consuming countries. It also addressed mechanisms to stimulate qualitative investments in mineral supply chains and explored opportunities for cooperation in mining innovation and the exchange of expertise and knowledge among participating countries.

 The meeting comes as part of international efforts to enhance joint cooperation in the critical minerals sector and support global initiatives aimed at developing mining value chains, contributing to meeting growing global demand for vital minerals and ensuring the sustainability of their supply.
