President of IsDB Group Launches ‘Solidarity 2.0’ Program
President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser launched today the “Tadamon 2.0 – Seeds of Solidarity” program, marking the second phase of the Bank’s flagship poverty reduction initiative, implemented in collaboration with several key global partners.
Since its launch in 2019, the “Tadamon” program has established itself as an innovative and effective initiative aimed at reducing poverty and vulnerability among marginalized and remote communities across member countries of the Islamic Development Bank.
In his keynote address during the official launch ceremony, Dr. Al Jasser stated that more than 32 member countries are currently affected by fragility and conflict. He emphasized that addressing risks and shocks, while enhancing resilience, forms a central pillar of the IsDB Group’s strategic framework for 2026–2035.
He described Tadamon 2.0 as a pioneering initiative that marks a transition from fragmented efforts to scalable impact, and from short-term interventions to long-term resilience.
The event was attended by heads and representatives of partner organizations, including United Nations agencies, international non-governmental organizations, and civil society institutions. It also featured the signing of cooperation agreements with six major development partners that pledged support for Tadamon 2.0 alongside the Islamic Development Bank.
