Muslim World League (MWL) Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa delivered a lecture titled "Experiences and Perspectives on the Diplomacy of Dialogue to Mitigate the Risks of Conflict and Division Among Nations and Peoples after the Charter of the United Nations." The event, held in the lecture hall of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, drew academics, intellectuals, and others interested in global dialogue and conflict prevention.
In his address, Dr. Al-Issa underscored the crucial role of dialogue in preventing conflict and mitigating divisions among nations and peoples, stressing that dialogue is a fundamental mechanism for dealing with global challenges and remains the most civilized method of engagement.
He spoke about the nature and essence of dialogue, outlining the characteristics that meaningful and constructive dialogue must embody to achieve its objectives. “Effective dialogue is the beginning of 'preventive peace,' which spares the world from wars and destruction,” he said, noting that it is not a matter of preference but “the essential refuge where the world’s wise leaders meet.”
