Masam Project Removes 835 Mines in Yemen

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project, which aims to clear Yemeni lands of mines, removed 835 mines during the fourth week of December 2025 across various regions of Yemen. The total included two anti-personnel mines, 84 anti-tank mines, 745 items of unexploded ordnance, and four improvised explosive devices.
 With these removals, the total number of mines cleared in December reached 3,491. Since the launch of the Masam Project, a total of 529,951 mines have been removed, all of which were planted in various areas of Yemen and posed a threat to civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
 Through these humanitarian efforts, KSrelief continues to clear Yemeni lands of mines, contributing to enhanced civilian safety and supporting the ability of the Yemeni people to live in a safer environment.
