The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development conducted more than 370,000 inspections of private-sector establishments in the third quarter of 2025 to regulate the labor market, ensure compliance with labor laws, and implement Saudization policies, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance operational efficiency and attract national talent.
As a result of these inspections, approximately 52,000 warnings were issued for non-serious violations, while legal actions were taken on 116,868 serious violations, including issues related to workers' rights, Saudization requirements, and occupational safety and health compliance.
The compliance rate for the Wage Protection Program rose to 93.4%, with about 93% of visited establishments meeting Saudization targets. Over 60,000 establishments completed the self-assessment service to evaluate their compliance and take corrective measures. Additionally, 3,497 establishments were certified under the Mowaamah Program for their integration of persons with disabilities.
The ministry employs integrated tools to monitor compliance, emphasizing the importance of inspections in its operational framework. Community members are encouraged to report labor law violations through the ministry’s mobile app or the unified number 19911.
