SFD, Digital Cooperation Organization Sign MoU to Boost Digital Development Initiatives in Sustainable International Development

Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) CEO Sultan Al-Marshad and Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) Secretary-General Deemah AlYahya signed, at SFD headquarters in Riyadh, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation and support digital development initiatives in sustainable international development.
 The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the two sides in a number of digital and development fields. It focuses on exchanging international expertise and knowledge, supporting the development of an inclusive digital sector, and contributing to the achievement of sustainable development in various countries. The agreement also includes benefiting from technical expertise in preparing technical studies and implementing joint programs.
 It underscores the importance of development and digital cooperation in contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and supporting development initiatives in developing and least developed countries worldwide.
 Since its establishment in 1974, the Saudi Fund for Development has provided development support to more than 100 developing countries by financing more than 800 development projects and programs across various sectors, with a total value exceeding $22 billion. These efforts have contributed to achieving sustainable development impact in beneficiary countries and enhancing opportunities for economic and social growth.
